The following list of parks and preserves includes those managed by federal, state, county, and non-governmental agencies (such as the National Audubon Society, the Nature Conservancy, various historical societies, etc.).

North Coast Inland Trail (Bike Path)

Cross country ski trails
This is the skinniest park in Lorain County, since it is just waide enough for the trail and and its right-of-way. Besides being available to those walking and running, you can also do inline-skating and cycling, but not skate boarding. Cross-country skiing is also an option when weather conditions permit.
