Our website is about to move!

Until now TrekOhio.com has been hosted at WordPress.com. But in the very near future, our site will become self-hosted. Our domain name will continue to be TrekOhio.com, and all of the addresses for our posts and pages will remain the same. However if you are one of the 185 people who are following via WordPress, you will no longer be informed of our new posts after we’ve completed our move. But you can still follow us using the WordPress Reader as described below.

Bring up the Reader window in your browser and click the “Edit” button pointed to below.

Press the Edit button.

Press the Edit button.

When the next window comes up, type or paste our URL into the text box as shown below.

How to follow TrekOhio

Just enter our URL: http://trekohio.com

After entering our URL, click the “Follow” link to the right. Now whenever we post something new, you’ll be notified!

If you are following via Email, Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, or RSS, you will continue to be notified of new posts. I wish I could inform Email followers what our sending email address is going to be, but I’m still working that out. It may be from our Gmail account (user TrekOhioBlog), or from TrekOhio.com.

We look forward to posting on a regular basis after we’ve moved. And to those bloggers whom I’ve been following, I apologize for being absent. I should be able to resume following you soon.

Jane, thanks for your feedback. I forgot to mention in the article that after you paste in our URL, you have to click the “Follow” link. I’ve updated the article to reflect that. That seemed to work when I did it, but I’ll go and double-check.

  2. Ain’t got no dang “Edit” button.

  3. Oh, yeah, I do … it’s just not in the place you said. Different “Themes”, I reckon.
