Muskingum County Parks & Nature Preserves

The following list of parks and preserves includes those managed by federal, state, county, and non-governmental agencies (such as the National Audubon Society, the Nature Conservancy, various historical societies, etc.).

We have tried to collect information on the activities and facilities available at various parks, but things may change without us knowing about it. So please double check the information at the official site (click on the park’s name to go there).

Blue Rock (State Park)

Blue Rock (State Forest)

• Location: Adjacent to Blue Rock State Park

• Total trail length: 26 miles hiking / bridle trails
• Dog friendly

Dillon (State Park)

• Park size: 2,285 acres
• Total trail length: 1.25 miles hiking, 9.6 miles multi-use, 12 miles mountain bike, 15 miles bridle trails
• Dog friendly (Not on beach)

Powelson Wildlife Area (State Wildlife Area)

The Wilds (Wild Animal Park)

Tri-Valley Wildlife Area (State Wildlife Area)
